Sithney Green Rangers, helped by Sithney Green Brownies and parent helpers, welcomed 50 elderly members of their local community to a post-Christmas party to combat loneliness.
"Our Rangers gave up their Saturday, to help host the event. The planning for the event involved several weeks of organising and fundraising. It took place at Nancegollan village hall in Sithney Parish.
Everyone showed kindness, helpfulness, caring and worked extremely hard preparing food, serving, clearing away, washing up and cleaning afterwards.
Thanks to our local councillors Loveday Jenkin and Phil Martin for their support and to Lisa Worley and Emma King, helpers from Sithney Green Brownies."
Sharing and caring at its best. Girlguiding at its best.
Feeling proud and can't stop smiling - Jan Crooks, Volunteer Leader
