Girlguiding Cornwall helps to keep the Royal Cornwall Show, one of the county’s biggest events, running smoothly. Many of our Guides, Rangers and leaders volunteer to deliver results and messages across the entire Showground, support stewarding in the Grandstand and help run the ever-popular Flower Crèche, giving visitors a safe place to leave their plant purchases while they continue exploring the Show.

 

We spend the event sharing our Girlguiding story and inspiring more girls and volunteers to join the adventure.

 

Our dedicated catering team keeps girls and leaders well fed and refreshed, while also offering exhibitors in the Flower Tent a quiet spot to enjoy a cup of tea and something delicious to eat.

 

It’s a huge team effort, one that everyone involved looks forward to each year, and a wonderful example of Girlguiding Cornwall spirit in action.
