International trips

Where will you're Guiding adventures take you?

We're part of a truly global movement so Girlguiding can offer members a huge range of amazing international adventures.

Girls and volunteers can trek abroad with their local unit, join an international social action project or represent girls at a global seminar. We have opportunities big, small and suitable for all ages – including lots of life-changing opportunities for volunteers. Get exploring the world with guiding.

Our Adventures in 2019
Sithney Green and 1st Redruth Rangers

Sithney Green and 1st Redruth Rangers have had an incredible week away in Norway ðŸ‡³ðŸ‡´ and also a day trip to Sweden!!! Staying in a rustic log cabin in the woods they have explored Norwegian fjords, woodlands and fully immersed themselves in the Norwegian culture - seeing wildlife like adders, red squirrels and deer. Trips to the Munch museum to see the Scream and pictures by Monet, Rembrant and Picasso - plus some international geocaching for those not artistically inclined! In Oslo the Viking ship museum was an incredible experience as was the diversity of Norwegian transport used - the girls have travelled by tram, metro, bus, train and boat as well as the aeroplane! Finally the Norwegian 'soft whip' ice cream was a big hit! What an incredible trip.
