Rainbows are girls aged 4-7 years old. Rainbows is all about developing self-confidence, building friendships, learning new things and having fun. Girls get their hands dirty with arts and crafts, get in touch with nature and play games - it's all about learning by doing.

Welcome To Cornwall Rainbows!
Rainbows is all about developing self-confidence, building friendships, learning new things and having fun. Girls get their hands dirty with arts and crafts, get in touch with nature and play games - it's all about learning and growing by doing.

Rainbows take part in special events including beach clean-ups, indoor and outdoor activity days, county wide events, learning local traditions, building confidence, and forging lifelong friendships. The vibrant spirit of Cornwall is at the heart of every unit, making Girlguiding here a truly special and memorable experience for all involved.

They can work towards interest badges, where they can learn about everything from bee keeper to storytelling, developing core skills and trying new things like first aid and tidying up after making a happy mess! There are even awards they can earn that show their commitment and encourage pride in their achievements.
"We like to see our friends and do fun activities! Tonight we've made roads out of biscuits and chocolate!"

"I’m passionate about Girlguiding being a safe space for girls to be whoever they want to be. Watching them make friendships, try new things and grow in confidence is the best satisfaction in the world."
