Grace's mum writes:
Grace started her Gold DofE journey 4 years ago. Eventually after multiple cancellations and a pandemic, in July 2021 she travelled to The Peak District to undertake both the practice expedition and the qualifying expedition in one week with people she had never met before. She endured very hot temperatures carrying her belongings but through shear determination to succeed, Grace and her group successfully completed both expeditions.
One photography above was taken by one of her group showing her on top of one of the peaks and the other is her Gold pin and brooch.
Grace is currently an adult leader at two units: 1st Torpoint Guides and 11th Falmouth Guides.
As her mum I am so very proud of her achievement.
