Our county commissioner, Sue Harris, wishes to celebrate the brilliance of guiding in Cornwall. Covid-19 made us realise the importance of family, friends and loved ones. Girlguiding Cornwall is a family too and we are planning a county event for every member of the county in Cornwall to come together and celebrate how amazing we are.
We have planned a day full of fun, inspiration, trying new activities, working with other organisations (including the Police, South West Water), seeing old friends, singing, dancing, traditional guiding activities, renewing of promises and most importantly lots of laughter. We will also be having an opening and closing ceremony.
The day will be split into three sections:

The county will pay for the coach to get you and your unit to Stithans Showground. This will be organised locally at division level, please get in touch with your division coordinator to organise your unit numbers and pick up/drop off details.

If anyone from you unit is arriving by car (both volunteers and young members) please ensure that the Kevewi team is arrive so they how many cars to expect at the showground.

This document must be filled in and emailed to Sarah Powlesland (training@girlguidingcornwall.org.uk) by 1 June 2024. You must also bring a copy with you on the day of the event to fill in and hand over to the Kevewi team.
