1st Saltash Rainbows are working on the Cornwall Big Brownie Birthday Challenge. Kay Gill, their Leader, reports: 'Today we travelled back in time on our magic carpet to 1985 and the Live Aid concert to help the starving people in Ethiopia.
The girls brought in lots of items of food to give to the Saltash Food Bank to help people in our own community who are hungry and in need of help. The girls built towers with the food to make their own stand against food poverty. Glenda Sollick from Saltash Food Bank came to visit us to take away all the food .
