Recently 16 Guides from Cornwall spent a weekend at Liskeard as part of their Baden Powell Challenge. The 'Adventure' experience is part of the syllabus and there can have been no more adventurous experience for these girls. They took part in several of the activities on offer at the 'Adrenaline Quarry' as well as some more sedate pursuits to allow their heart rate to get back to normal!
Here are some of their comments:
Scary especially when it just DROPPED!!,
Exciting, although it felt like you were falling.
Loved it wanted another go.
Amazing, faster than I expected.
Scary stepping off the edge, and going over the water.
Love to go again and again
Got better as it got faster.
Loved racing the others round the track
Amazing adrenaline rush.
